Social Media Strategist

SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Strategist to craft and execute a social strategy that leverages our social media accounts to boost awareness, generate leads, and drive engagement.

As our Social Media Strategist, you'll be at the forefront of expanding our social media presence and reaching new audiences whose lives and bodies we can help transform.

You will develop and implement innovative strategies to increase our online presence, support our marketing efforts, and foster an engaged community.

Key responsibilities include managing our social media accounts, creating captivating content, ensuring brand consistency, and measuring campaign success.

Position Responsibilities :

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Develop and implement a social media strategy to increase online presence, engagement and reach for all company accounts including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, YouTube, Pinterest, and expand to other relevant platforms as appropriate
• Create engaging and informative content for social media platforms
• Create / edit videos for YouTube, reels, stories, website, and internal use using Adobe Premiere
• Increase social media engagement, followers, drive traffic to our website, and track metrics to measure their success
• Work closely with the marketing team to ensure that social media campaigns align with overall marketing goals
• Plan and schedule content in advance using a detailed content calendar to maintain a consistent posting rhythm and strategic campaign alignment.
• Ensure the content calendar is regularly reviewed and adjusted based on performance metrics and evolving business objectives.
• Work with Communications Manager to align blog posts with content calendar and other SEO content needs
• Monitor and stay up-to-date on social media trends and changes in social media platforms to ensure that the company is utilizing the latest strategies and techniques
• Develop influencer program to increase brand awareness; maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors; track influencer analytics
• Monitor and respond to customer inquiries and feedback on social media platforms including reviews, comments and direct messages
• Collaborate with all departments to create social media content that is accurate and up-to-date with company goals
• Other duties as assigned

Required Education / Experience : Required Education / Experience - REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

Bachelors degree (MBA a plus) in Social Media, Marketing, Communications, or related field

3-5 years of experience in social media marketing and content creation

Passion for social media and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices

Prior experience driving social strategy and day-to-day execution in a cross-functional organization

Proven ability to create engaging content including videos and grow social media followings

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Canva, and Hootsuite / Sprout Social

Proficiency using MAC operating system
