Job Details
MUST HAVES :
- Experience working on Machining or fabrication equipment.
- Experience interfacing with customers.
TRAVEL :
70-100% along the East Coast.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct site visits to understand customer processes and needs.
- Troubleshoot and provide recommendations for product optimization.
- Assist customers with unique programming issues and training.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through positive interactions.
- Instruct customers on machine operations, maintenance, and safety.
- Maintain detailed service reports and follow safety protocols.
- Complete necessary training and stay informed on product applications.
- Provide technical advice to optimize software and machine efficiency.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- Degree in Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in applications, and installations (minimum 5 years).
- Experience working on lasers, press brakes, punches, system software, and material handling solutions for processing sheet metal and structural steel.
- Proficiency in basic computer and CNC programming skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
- Deep knowledge of Trumpf applications
- Sheet metal experience
