Job Description
Position : Lead Software Development Engineer
This position provides systems life cycle management (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.
to ensure delivery of technical solutions is on time and within budget. He / She provides technical leadership and guidance to software development teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
He / She defines application complexity drivers, estimates development efforts, creates milestones and / or timelines, and tracks progress towards completion.
He / She Researches and supports the integration of emerging technologies.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Proven experience in a leadership role, leading software development teams in the delivery of complex projects.
- 8 + years of industry experience with at least 3+ years of experience in leading an application development team mainly focused on windows desktop application development in C++, MFC, STL and SQL programming.
- Has experience with handling multiple projects, making decisions about priorities, timelines, and resources.
- Expertise in one or more programming languages, with a strong preference for functional programming languages such as C++
- Deep understanding of software architecture and design principles, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems.
- Experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud-based solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including code reviews, testing, and CI / CD pipelines.
- Experience in Agile Development
- Must be proficient in in C++, C#, .Net, ASP.NET MVC patterns and Web API services.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Education :
Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
