We have a wonderful opportunity for a Special Education Teacher in Hillsboro, Oregon. This position is part-time, 4 days a week with 5-hour days.

We are looking for S PED Teachers who :

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide special education students with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical and social growth
• Develop or modify curricula and prepare lessons and other instructional materials to match student ability levels
• Work in self-contained, team, departmental, or itinerant capacity as assigned
• Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) goal setting process and implementation
• Collaboration and Consultation, Progress Monitoring and Documentation

Requirements

• Current OR Special Education Certification
• Special Education Teaching Experience
• Fingerprinting and background check required
