The Team
Our Health Modernization Solutions (HMS) team works side by side with customers to articulate a vision for success, and then make it happen.
We know success doesn't happen by accident. It takes the right team of people working together on the right solutions for the customer.
We are looking for a seasoned Data Architect who will be a key driver to make this happen.
The Work
Our team will assist HHS and GSA’s Centers of Excellence (CoE) in building a modern IT enterprise architecture with effective data governance and DevSecOps.
We will assess the current network, infrastructure, applications, and data, identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities, and envision an optimal future IT environment while understanding customer needs.
Key Responsibilities and Job Duties
- Significant experience with developing sustainable enterprise data governance frameworks and strategies.
- Experience with designing and developing relational databases using stored procedures.
- Experience with distributed search engines, such as ElasticSearch.
- Experience designing architecture solutions for various data use cases on-premises and in the cloud to support high volume, velocity, variety, and veracity data using industry best practices and considering compliance with applicable federal and industry mandates and initiatives.
- Understanding of data modeling, data integration principles, and metadata management principles and best practices.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and data privacy laws for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Personal Health Information (PHI) and their application to enterprise systems.
- Understanding and testing of complex Data Models.
- Validate output report files, both manual and automated.
- Reporting of validation results, Data Model output.
- Close interaction with Dev and business team on refinement, implementation, and execution of data items.
- Experience working with an Agile team and knowledge of the SDLC.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science or related field.
- 3 years’ experience in data analytics.
- 3 years’ experience with SQL, Python, or statistical software such as SAS, Stata, or R.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
- Candidate must reside in the U.S., be authorized to work in the U.S., and all work must be performed in the U.S.
- Candidate must have lived in the U.S. for three (3) full years out of the last five (5) years.

- Experience on a software development team building modern software products.

- Experience with Jenkins, Ansible, and Azure Pipeline.
Job Location :

Pay Range - The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is : $76,848.00 - $130,642.00 Nationwide Remote Office (US99).
