Anticipated Schedule :
ER : You will have a 5-day work week, 10 : 00 pm 6 : 00 am, Wednesday Sunday with Monday and Tuesday off. With an opportunity toassist in anemergency surgeries that happen outside of scheduled hours.
Competitive compensation : Pay : $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
What you’ll do :
Triage incoming patients, perform initial patient assessment and obtain vitals.
Collect specimens and performs laboratory analysis.
Assist veterinarians in all aspects during surgical procedures : pre-medication, set up, induction, preparation, maintenance of general anesthesia, surgical monitoring, surgical assisting, and recovery.
Assist with dosage calculations and dispensing of medication including controlled substances as well as advanced emergency drug calculations, dosing and administering route protocols and common contraindications.
Provide care for hospitalized patients.
Maintain stock in treatment rooms.
Clean between emergencies, sterilize packs and instruments and maintain order of surgery room, lab and surgery prep.
Set up or prepare any medical instruments for the next day’s procedures.
