We are seeking an Executive Sous Chef to join our award winning team! Our long standing catering company is hiring looking for the right individual to start immediately.
We are a Very high volume kitchen with Very high food quality standards. The Executive sous chef is primarily responsible for the following :
Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day culinary operations
- Creates and maintains a rigorous production schedule
- Monitors quality of food preparation and presentation and makes adjustments or corrections as needed
- Assist in the development of menu items
- Assists to standardize recipes and plate presentations
- Works with management to create a memorable experience for guests
- Maintains sanitation procedures
Qualifications :
- Previous management experience in high volume catering or restaurants
- Knowledge of cost and labor systems
- Passion for food
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
