Talascend is looking for a Forklift Operator in Nixa, MO for a 2nd shift position, 2 : 00 pm - 10 : 00 pm.
OVERVIEW :
Assists Operators with day-to-day operations by loading and unloading tanker trailers / box trailers, filling drums and totes.
Fill out proper documentation and forms that goes with each shipment or tank movement. Prepare nutrients for automated nutrient batch tanks.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Monitors the levels of all tanks. Knows the vinegar flow in and out of tanks.
- Monitors filtration units.
- Monitors nutrient levels in tanks, mixes batches as needed and adds them to tanks.
- Load and unload tankers as necessary.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS :
- Ability to work alone.
- Ability to make quick decisions based on work production needs.
- Ability to give complete attention to detailed work.
- Education : High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience : Two to Three years in a food or beverage manufacturing company preferred.
