Attention Revenue! The Compliance division is seeking a expert user in ATLAS to fill a Management Analyst 4 position. As a C ompliance ATLAS Trainer , your focus will be teaching division staff how to perform their work in ATLAS while serving as a consultant to the division Management Team relating to ATLAS and staff development.

Duties

Who we are looking for :

You are an experienced tax administration professional who projects a positive attitude and encourages process improvements.

You will manage divisional resources to ensure risk and change is communicated to all levels within the organization.

You must have expert knowledge of the agency’s business processes, practices, tax administration programs, policies and procedures, and ATLAS system navigation and functionality.

The Compliance ATLAS trainer will :

  • Research and evaluate current and future ATLAS training needs and resources.
  • Provide consultation to division’s Change Manager and Management Team.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage the division’s ATLAS training program.
  • Coordinate, develop, implement, and present ATLAS training to division staff.
  • Recognize needs and create training curriculum based on these needs.
  • Create and update procedures.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in business administration, law, public health, health administration, political science, environmental science, public administration, or related field AND four (4) years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules, or regulations or comparable combination of graduate education and experience.

Experience should include one (1) or more of the following :

  • Expert knowledge of the agency's business processes, practices and ATLAS system navigation and functionality.
  • Coordinating, developing, implementing, and presenting training to staff.
  • Work performed supporting a large technology project similar to ATLAS in any of the functions below : Fulfilling a role as power user, deskside support, or trainer for any phase of project.

Researching, analyzing, and recommending solutions for multidimensional problems having broad scope and impact to the agency, partners, and the public.

Developing, implementing, tracking, performing, and evaluating system testing and results.

Note - Additional experience may substitute year for year for education.

Preference may be granted to applicants who possess :

  • Knowledge of programs, policies and procedures within the Compliance division.
  • Experience in communicating effectively.
  • Experience creating E-learning training using Articulate Storyline, Camtasia or similar software.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
