Job Description
We're seeking a Technical Solutions Consultant to extend our global reach through expert discovery and exploration of new business opportunities within our existing base of strategic customers.
Our ideal candidate will be trusted to dive right in, take the lead, use initiative, and help our account teams drive new opportunities within our strategic base of products.
Customer conversations will occur through targeted sales campaigns relative to business needs and changes in technology.
As new opportunities are discovered, this person will work directly with the Solutions Engineering team to deliver a solution that solves that organizations challenges and strategic initiatives.
Through the sales process this individual will be tasked with learning the technical selling aspects of our strategic products thru direct interaction with our Solutions Engineering team.
In addition to leading targeted sales efforts, this individual will be responsible for developing technical product knowledge through education and technical certifications relative to our core products.
This will be accomplished thru direct SE mentorship during the sales process, close alignment with the SE team, and self-learning via OEM training and certifications.
This role is designed to educate an individual who has an end goal of becoming a Solutions Engineer, or Strategic Pursuit BDM.
- You will be responsible for consulting the CBTS client base on a broad technology set to include UCaaS, WAN LAN, Security, Cloud and Application, Infrastructure, and Managed Services.
- You will work with both the Solutions Engineering team and Account Management team to create and deliver solutions that solve for customer challenges and initiatives.
- You will be responsible for being able to deliver a technical sales presentation that is accurate, easy to understand, and compelling.
- You will work with the SE Team and our OEM PARTNERS to broaden your base of technical selling knowledge with an end goal of becoming an SE or Strategic Pursuit BDM.
Four years of College resulting in a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
2 to 4 years in related field
- Strong Sales Acumen
- Ability to consume technical information.
- Ability to translate technical information to a non-technical audience.
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
This is a hybrid work environment with some travel required.
