Motion Control Applications Engineer (US)
Locations : Atlanta, GA or Chicago, IL (1 day / week)

To boost our North American market, we seek a skilled motion control applications engineer in the US. Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in industrial automation, servo motors and drives, and Industry 4.
0, preferably in the plastics sector.
Key Responsibilities :
- Serve as a trusted advisor, identifying customer needs and pain points and delivering top-notch motion control solutions.
- Define motion control solutions and architecture, specifying necessary products and materials.
- Support sales with product information, demos, and customer proposals.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects and solution deliveries.
- Share knowledge through webinars, internal meetings, and technical presentations.
- Stay current with industry trends and technologies, suggesting product improvements.
Skills :
- Strong leader and team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise in load and capacity calculations, servo motor sizing, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Proven ability to meet targets and build cross-functional relationships.
- Experience in consultative sales and managing industrial hardware / software products.
Experience :
- 5+ years in a similar role, with at least three years in motion control.
- In-depth knowledge of industrial machine applications, preferably in the plastics segment.
- Mastery of digitalization and Industry 4.0.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Proficiency in English.

- Based in Atlanta, GA, or Chicago, IL.
- Hybrid position with 70% travel required, including international travel.
- Flexible relocation if needed.
