Job description :
Composite and Fiberglass Assembly
The Client is seekinga candidate with composite or fiberglass experience.
The position involves a variety of fabrication and processingoperations in order to build and finish fiberglass reinforcedparts.
Perform composite layup and mechanical assemblyoperations to military specification by utilizing process sheetsdrawings and written instructions.
Operate various airpowered tools to assemble / disassemble molds sand and patch blockassemblies.
Operate a cabinet sand blaster.
Operate a bandsaw.
Candidate will be expected to wearappropriate company provided PPE required to perform tasks.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time tooperate machinery and hand sand assemblies.
Will handlevarious chemicals epoxies and resins associated with assembly offiberglass products.
Ability to lift 25lbs.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products and beable to use a computer.
Will be expected to reviewdemands presented in automated systems interpret written workinstructions and work with cell leads and factory management todevelop strategies to meet requirements while managing targetsassociated with Safety Quality Delivery and Cost.
Must have greater thanone :
1) year experience working withfiberglass or autobody type work.
High school diplomaor equivalent.
Ability to pass drug and backgroundscreenings.
Skills Required :
1 yearsof experience in working with Fiberglass / composites or automotivebody work / bondo type repair. Experience with using epoxydispensers curing ovens air powered sanders
ExperienceRequired :
Requires two (2) years of a HighSchool or Trade School education.
