- Set up and operate all machines related to work area; change fixtures and tooling for new and existing products
- Determine sequence of operations to make CNC programs
- Prepare machine for production by setting up tooling and work holding fixtures
- Prepare all set ups, and upload and download programs
- Maintains specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts, and adjusting controls while maintaining tight tolerance objectives
- Ability to utilize all hand inspection equipment
- Operate using SPC where needed
- Ensures operation of the equipment
- Completes production and quality logs
- Maintain fluid levels on machines, including coolant, spindle, and hydraulic fluids
