Job Description
Duties
Under the direction of a partner, operate at a mid-level within the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Disputes group. Advise clients on complex litigation matters with a focus on commercial, antitrust, competition, sports disputes, and internal and government investigations.
Represent private and public corporations in litigation matters, including case strategy development, prosecuting and defending actions, and negotiations.
Mentor junior associates and support staff. Participate in efforts to grow and expand the practice through cross-marketing and other new business initiatives.
Must have a JD and 3 years’ experience as a Lawyer, Junior Associate or Mid-level Associate in commercial litigation.

Special Skills
- Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Florida. Must have experience in each of the following : 1) litigating sports antitrust cases, including issues relating to monopolies, conspiracies, market division, refusal to deal, unfair trade practices, unfair competition, and trademarks;
- 2) managing and conducting internal and government investigations concerning antitrust violations; 3) litigating and managing consumer protection actions, including issues related to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and Florida’s Telephone Solicitation Act;
- 4) drafting and arguing dispositive and discovery motions for complex commercial litigation cases in Florida state and federal courts;
and 5) advising clients on confidentiality and exemptions relating to Freedom of Information Act disclosures.
