We are currently searching for a Durable Medical Equipment Assistant to join our Post-Surgical Services Team in Charlotte.

The DME Assistant helps to maintain accurate DME inventory levels within OC offices, via inventory tracking, invoice verification and product disputes, and assisting with post-surgical DME needs as necessary.

Complete billing processes for DME needs. Additional projects may be requested. Other responsibilities include :

• Re-stocks DME closets at each location to include unpacking boxes, verifying packing slips, handles product disputes, entering product into IMS, and places items on appropriate shelf with appropriate labels.
• Assists team lead and post-surgical / DME sales manager with special projects such as quarterly and monthly audits, research alternate products.
• Matches invoices to packing slips and turns them in daily to team lead. Assist with accounts payable process by matching invoices with packing slips and reconciling them with the team lead
• Attends all ancillary training for New Hires to educate new OC employees on DME process and assist as necessary. Responsible for completing monthly inventory audits at each assigned clinic
• Services all OrthoCarolina facilities daily / weekly and help manage and maintain our inventory levels. Assist team lead with problem solving any DME product issue at any OC facility to include exchanges, customer service issues, billing questions and new product request.
