About this position : The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and execute strategic direction for the traditional motor management and load management business to enable profitable growth in North America.
This leader will develop and execute the portfolio strategy with a customer-centric approach towards innovation as they define the next generation of Load Management solutions.
What do you get to do in this position? Develop and maintain a robust product strategy playbook to enable Schneider Electric to grow sustainably in Motor and Load Management.
Collaborate with commercial teams to ensure synergy of product & commercial strategies Collaborate with global and local strategy teams and segment teams to assess key growth segment markets, including market size, value chain analysis and competitive assessments Proactively gather market & competitive intelligence to identify and define emerging new product and product adjacency opportunities.
Collaborate with commercial and line of business strategy teams to classify and validate growth opportunities. Conduct voice of customer to validate growth opportunities, understand application needs, offer gaps, and enablers to enter the target segments.
Present growth opportunities, strategic intent, value proposition, and proposed solution to the leadership and key stakeholders to secure investments and resources and assess the feasibility of the proposed solution.
Lead exploration pilots to validate ideas that will convert into executable innovation programs in the HUB. This includes Collaboration with technical and commercial teams to develop a plan for feasibility assessment Lead customer pilots and demos with Product Owners' support to validate innovation hypotheses, test concepts, identify feature needs, and understand customers’ willingness to pay and friction to sell.
Develop business cases considering potential benefits, customers' willingness to pay, and selling friction. Early validation of Go to market channel and technical feasibility Present the case for project execution and further investment as an outcome of the exploration Effectively transfer further project execution to the Product Owner.
Strong cooperation with global stakeholders on platforming and division strategy alignment Serve as the subject matter expert for products and applications and consult commercial teams, Product Owners, and global line of business.

This job might be for you if you : Have a strong business acumen with 10+ years of experience in marketing, strategy and / or product management Bachelors in business, electrical & / or automation engineering, or related field Have a strong track record of shaping and executing product strategy through portfolio roadmaps and tight collaboration with cross-function teams.
Ability to build and lead initiatives autonomously and work with multiple business stakeholders across time zones. Exhibit abundant imagination but also ruthless prioritization (saying "no" isn't difficult for you) Have an understanding & knowledge of competitive offers related to motor control Have the ability to influence and convince stakeholders at all levels of the organization Knowledge of the Motor Management market and applications.
If you have no experience in Motor Management, you have a proven track record of entering a new space and rapidly building expertise.
Knowledge and experience executing roadmap in an agile development environment. Results-driven, act as an owner, use your judgment, and can free up energy to shape our future.
