A national law firm has partnered with Talis Group to recruit an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join their Litigation Group - with Construction focus.
The successful candidate will have construction or other complex litigation experience. This is a full-time, on-site position (Monday-Friday) that offers full benefit package (health, life, disability, dental, vision, HSA and EAP programs), 15 PTO days and excellent salary - $55-$65k.
Highlighted Duties :
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, document production, and extensive document management.
- Draft and prepare a range of legal documents and correspondence.
- Conduct legal and factual research, analyzing documents and compiling data to support cases.
- Prepare for and assist with depositions, including organizing exhibits, summarizing transcripts, and managing trial materials.
- Ensure proper indexing and filing of legal documents, using litigation software and other systems as needed.
- Perform other administrative and miscellaneous duties as assigned to support case and project management.
Highlighted Requirements :
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies, or a Paralegal Certificate;
- Minimum of 5 years of construction litigation experience, from case inception through post-trial activities.
- Strong organizational skills, with experience managing large volumes of documents and information.
- Excellent legal writing skills for drafting documents and correspondence.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with attorneys, other agencies, and clients.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and interpreting diverse instructions (written, verbal, or diagrammed).
