Essential Functions / Skills :
- Work with leaders and employees to actively handle and resolve behavioral and performance related issues proactively, minimizing any potential risks.
- Support the day-to-day HR related activities to include absenteeism management and employee relations, working in conjunction with the HR Director, Payroll Manager and Operations Leadership team.
- Have an ongoing presence on the manufacturing floor to build rapport and trust with leaders and staff.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders to better understand and assess employee and business needs and identify opportunities for resolution and improvement.
- General HR Administration within Paycom, with a focus on T&A, and Paycom timeclocks.
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve day-to-day issues in a manufacturing environment and confidently address complex employee relations challenges.
- Effectively plan and organize with an emphasis on detail, consistency, and accuracy.
- Identify urgent needs and intuitively identify next steps to achieve quick resolution.
- Quickly pivot, multi-task and prioritize in an evolving, face-paced environment.
- Preserve and handle confidential information with a high level of sensitivity.
- Hold a higher standard and be the example by exhibiting desirable behaviors that support a safe and rewarding workplace and culture.
- Consistently adhere to all safety and quality standards required on the production floor (hairnet, beard net, ear and eye protection).
- Occasionally work evening and weekend hours as needed.
- SQF / ISO requirements compliance.
Education / Experience Required :
- Associate’s degree in business administration, HR, or relevant field desired.
- Strong communication, computer, and analytical skills are essential.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of direct or similar professional experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, and HRIS experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to speak Spanish and / or Portuguese highly desired, but not required.
- HR Certification a plus SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SHPR.
