The Role You Play
As the Quality Specialist, you will assist in the execution of Pawnee's Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Plan. This role is critical in ensuring high standards of care through the management of incident reports, client grievances, peer reviews, and adherence to quality improvement practices.
The Day-to-Day
- Oversee Pawnee’s incident reporting system by gathering, reviewing, and providing preliminary analysis of reports. Track and trend incident data to support continuous improvement.
- Track corrective actions resulting from internal incidents and external audits, collaborating with various departments to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Manage Pawnee’s EMR database.
- Create and implement basic staff training on Pawnee’s reporting systems as requested by your supervisor.
- Other Duties as AssignedMaintain and advance your knowledge of the skills related to your position and field of work.Perform basic troubleshooting of electronic reporting systems, reporting anything outside your scope to your supervisor.
Who You Are
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks within the Quality Management Department.
They should possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments, investigate incidents while maintaining a high level of confidentiality.
You are self-motivated, able to work independently, and can deliver high-quality results while supporting continuous quality improvement efforts across the organization.
