Commercial Sales Manager
Energy Storage - Cleantech
Remote. (Must reside in TX)
$120k-$130k + Commission + Equity
Storm4 is partnering with a Series E, global leader in Cleantech who has revolutionized the way solar power is harvested and managed to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy.
With installations in more than 100 countries and more than 50 GW of energy shipped worldwide, this company has ambitious growth plans.
They are looking to add to their North American Commercial Sales Team specifically to lead the company's sales efforts in the commercial and industrial segment of the solar industry, through direct and channel sales.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee commercial and industrial operations across the South Central region of the US (covering TX, OK, NM, AR, LA), Mexico, the Caribbean, and CALA, ensuring seamless management and strategic growth.
- Drive the expansion of C&I regional operations by fostering growth in bookings and shipments through collaboration with distributors, end users, and EPC / development partners.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including enterprise accounts, EPCs, distributors, design engineers, project developers, asset owners, and design engineering firms to foster business growth and collaboration.
- Proactively seek out sales opportunities with EPCs, distributors, project developers, and utility companies aiming to fulfill ESG objectives through the deployment of solar solutions.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with a wide array of enterprise clients, including Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, agricultural entities, REITs, retail chains, warehouses, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, and other organizations.
- Collaborate with product management teams to enhance and refine the product portfolio tailored for the US market by gathering insights from customers, partners, and staying abreast of industry trends.
- Offer valuable input on marketing strategies and product positioning strategies that are specifically tailored to the unique dynamics of the US market, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market demands.
Requirements :
- Must be fluent in English and Spanish
- Must be comfortable traveling within the defined region (Mexico, the Caribbean, CALA, and the South Central region of the US).
- Minimum 7+ years' experience in technical sales, demonstrating proficiency in managing intricate engineered solutions across various sales channels, such as distribution, EPCs, project developers / owners, and financial institutions.
- Minimum 5+ years of C&I solar experience
- Must have a verifiable track record of growing market share & over achievement
- Ability to identify, negotiate, and close large revenue deals
