Someone with warehouse experience is critical for this position. Experience in receiving, shipping and pulling orders.
Typical Duties
- Determines the resources necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply to support production and sales.
- Ensures that materials are cost-effective.
- Assists in determining and ensuring the quality of materials.
- Monitors inventory levels and coordinates with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product.
- Works to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics.
- Finds new suppliers when needed; monitors cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.

- Responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity.
- Creates and maintains bills of material and parts / commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems.
- Develops specifications for new contract orders.
- May provide timely and accurate input on supplier performance and participate in higher level supplier performance review with strategic sourcing.
