This is an in-office, Monday-Friday role for a controller who lives or is willing to relocate to an area within commuting distance of Middlesex, NJ.
Your Qualifications
To be a strong fit for the Controller role, you will have :
- A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business; a master's degree is preferred.
- Experience in a Controller or similar leadership role.
- Excellent accounting skills including month-end close.
- Experience in manufacturing required.
- Business to Consumer (B2C) experience and expertise.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Clear, confident, and articulate communicator, advisor and mentor.
- A go-getter attitude with high ethical standards including honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
The Job
Reporting to the CEO and Founder, as Controller, you will oversee all financial and accounting functions within the organization, and manage an accounts payable clerk.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, developing and maintaining the company’s operating model, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
