Role Summary

Our client is in search of a driven Software Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to reshaping the future of wound care through cutting-edge technology.

In this role, you will be instrumental in both enhancing existing systems and developing new features for a mobile-first application designed to revolutionize clinical practices.

Your expertise will contribute directly to the company’s pioneering AI-driven image capture capabilities, playing a crucial role in the next phase of healthcare innovation.

Reporting directly to the CTO, you will collaborate with a small, agile team of developers and quality assurance specialists, working together to create and maintain top-tier software solutions.

Core Responsibilities

• Mobile & Web Development : Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET / C#, AngularJS, and advanced frameworks such as Xamarin and MAUI.
• API Development : Architect and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring they are efficient, secure, and seamlessly integrated with backend systems.
• Microservices Architecture : Lead the reconstruction of the database and service layers with a microservices approach, optimizing for performance and scalability.
• Feature Ownership : Quickly assimilate into the team, taking responsibility for small features and bug fixes, while gradually tackling more complex projects.
• Quality & Testing : Employ Test-Driven Development (TDD) to produce reliable, high-quality code.
• Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of new features.
• Code Reviews : Engage in peer code reviews, ensuring code quality and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications

• Experience : 4-5 years of software development experience, particularly with .NET / C#, AngularJS, and Web API.
• Technical Expertise : Deep understanding of RESTful API architecture, SQL, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with a strong adherence to SOLID principles.
• Mobile Frameworks : Experience with Xamarin or MAUI is highly advantageous.
• Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation.
• Learning & Adaptation : A keen interest in expanding your expertise, particularly in mobile app development and AI technologies.

Preferred Background

• Healthcare Tech : Previous experience in healthcare technology or a related field is highly valued.
• Agile Development : Proficiency with JIRA or similar project management tools within an Agile environment.
