Sr. Accountant

Kelly Services is looking for a Sr. Accountant for one of our biggest clients in Montgomery County, PA .

This would be a Full-Time direct hire opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Reconcile and review accounts including bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records.

Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department.

Implement month-end and year-end close process.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Provide outside auditors with assistance, gather necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.

File required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.

Perform other duties as assigned by Controller / Management.

Physical Requirements / Required Skills / Abilities : Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting. Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.

Able to analyze and interpret financial data. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly proficient with accounting software. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP's and pivot tables.

Education and Experience :

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. Three to five years of accounting experience required.
