Our clients company a civil contractor specializing in aboveground projects is seeking a Safety Director / Manager to join their team.
The role involves overseeing safety auditing employee training site inspections and managing safetyrelated documentation and claims.
Responsibilities
- Manage and report to various safety auditing companies.
- Oversee employee training and maintain training records.
- Conduct site inspection visits.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop safety submittal documents.
- Handle and manage claims.
- Report to management on safety trends and regulatory changes implementing necessary policy and procedure adjustments.
Qualifications
- Hold an EHS Degree.
- Possess a minimum of 36 years of experience as a safety manager or director in a construction firm.
- Capable of working independently and taking on the role of a oneperson band after replacing the existing director.
