Lead PowerBI Developer
Overland Park, Kansas
Responsibilities
- Works directly with business leaders to understand the business needs, critical path, and timeline to meet project goals.
- Develops business intelligence solutions to fulfill short and long-term priorities with solutions ranging from traditional, to more modern, interactive reporting tools.
- Leverages an analytic mindset to develop visualization of key trends and insights for decision making.
- Communicates / interacts with business partners.
- Collaborates with development team, project managers, and business analysts to determine requirements and develop solutions to meet business goals.
- Develops relational and dimensional data models to support reporting and analytics (SQL Server BI Platform).
- Assists leadership with advocating for and maturing the BI program using the latest methodologies as well as classic data warehouse and operational data store design patterns.
- Supports production reporting and data warehouse environments
- Leads design and code reviews of BI solutions.
Qualifications
Expert at design reporting framework, Experience with cloud technologies for integration, Database familiarity with cloud DB's like Snowflake and PostgreSQL, Power BI report development experience,
Good communication, Interacting with business.
Experience with optimization opportunities for Power BI reports, Expert at data modelling in Power BI, experience in deployment of reports, experience in setting up gateways, Power BI Admin experience.
Embedded PowerBI experience with React framework.
