Carpenter Laborer

Our growing company is looking for a skilled and capable carpenter to join our team. You’ll follow the project manager’s direction to help construct and maintain a variety of long-lasting buildings and products.

This includes building frameworks, installing window and door frames, and more. You should love working with your hands, doing something different every day, and take pride in a job well done.

Compensation :

$40,000 - $50,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

• Ensure roofing, floorings, and drywall are compatible and level
• Calculate, shape, cut, and smooth materials
• Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions
• Read blueprints and sketches to fully grasp the requirements
• Sculpt and piece together siding, drywall, kitchen cabinets, and furniture
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials.
• Construct building frameworks, including walls, floors, and doorframes.
• Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and hardware.
• Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals and tradespeople to complete projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications :

• Strong measuring and math skills required
• A high school diploma or GED is preferred
• Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity
• Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques
• Successfully completed formal carpentry apprenticeship
