JOB TITLE(S) :

Manufacturing Support Specialist I, or Manufacturing Support Specialist II, or Manufacturing Support Specialist III

SHIFT : 1st (5 : 00am-1 : 30pm) 2nd Shift (1 : 30pm-10 : 00pm)

ROLE DESCRIPTION :

As a Manufacturing Support Specialist at our uSmile manufacturing facility, you'll play a crucial role in manufacturing our Class 2 dental aligner products.

Your work will contribute directly to our mission of delivering top-quality products to our customers in as little as 3 days.

Our production process employs cutting-edge automation and robotics, and you'll work in a dynamic, growing, and fast-paced environment.

Requirements :

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Work to meet aligner production goals and deadlines for our customers.
• Assemble, inspect, and package dental aligner products, adhering to high-quality standards and production schedules.
• Interact with machinery and equipment in accordance with provided training and safety regulations.
• Handle small, delicate parts with precision and care.
• Read small numbers and letters accurately, possibly with the assistance of magnification devices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company policies and procedures.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Manufacturing Support Specialist I :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience with medical device small device assembly or equivalent.
• A minimum of a five (5) year consistent work history.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

AA / AS technical degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.

Manufacturing Support Specialist II :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two (2) years' experience with medical device small device assembly or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AA / AS technical degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience with 3D Printing, robotics and / or automation.
• Inventory tracking, inventory control or inventory management.

Manufacturing Support Specialist III :

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum three (3) years' experience with medical device small device assembly or equivalent.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• AA / AS technical degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• Experience with 3D Printing, robotics and / or automation.
• Inventory tracking, inventory control or inventory management.
• Experience in team leadership.

REQUIREMENTS

• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Basic computer skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, overtime as required, and occasional weekends.
