Job Description :
Pay Range : $16.81HR - $21.81hr
Responsibilities :
- Lab analyst for nutrient analysis of infant, adult, and medical nutritional products, assuring quality standards are met.
- The primary functions of this position are performance of analytical testing on ingredients and finished product as prescribed in various procedures under the guidance of a lab supervisor or test method expert.
- This position requires producing the highest quality results while operating within the constraints of safety and laboratory policies.
- Potential opportunity to assist with method development, investigations, and validation projects.
- Prepare, analyze, and process nutrient testing on research samples.
- Compare results to predetermined specifications, ensure analytical records are complete, accurate and in compliance.
- Maintain good laboratory practices.
- Perform accurate and precise testing according to laboratory methods.
- Responsible for keeping up to date with sample due dates and sample backlogs.
- Operate various types of analytical instrumentation, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform wet chemistry testing.
- Conduct investigations into method deviations and atypical results.
- Ensure compliance, overall data integrity, and adherence to SOP’s, safety, and in-house regulations.

Education and Experience :
- B.S. in Chemistry or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic wet chemistry techniques.
Preferred :
- Experience with HPLC and ICP.
- Experience with Sample Manager (LIMS) and other lab data systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
