Spherion is looking for skilled Maintenance Technicians around the Philipsburg PA area!

Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various equipment and systems to ensure their optimal performance.

Your expertise will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of their operations.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, lubricating, and cleaning equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Repair or replace defective parts and components
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent breakdowns
• Collaborate with other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance requests
• Fabricate or modify parts as needed
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications and Skills :

To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience :

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ability to work with basic mathematical equations
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise others effectively
• Ability to utilize various software packages including but not limited to Microsoft Office software, ERP system, and other internal systems

Education and / or Experience :

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Electrical Certification
• 2-5 year maintenance, with emphasis on Electrical and Mechanical repairs

Job Type : Full-time

Salary : $20.00 - $25.00 per hour (Negotiable dependent on your experience)

Expected hours : 40 per week

Work Location : In person
