What You’ll Do :
- Customer Service. Assist customers (vendors and division personnel) with quality customer service. Assist customers in the resolution of system matching errors
- Manage Invoices. Receive, reconcile, and process for payment of all invoices. Research problem invoices utilizing reporting and other available tools
- Analyze all vendor statements and take appropriate action to resolve discrepancies
- Review potential duplicate payments to suppliers, and make corrections as necessary
- In partnership with others, process construction invoices. This position requires users to enter invoices in multiple systems, which then requires good self time-management to keep turnaround reasonable
- Process Improvement. Recommend process improvements for efficiencies.
- Collaborate. Provide backup for 2-3 functional areas within the Payment Services department, assist Supervisor in setting goals and determining the path to accomplish
- Additional Responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Skills You’ll Need :
- Education. A high school diploma is required.
- Experience. Experience in procurement and accounting with an emphasis on payables is desired.
- Organizational Skills. Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize work and display attention to detail.
- Interpersonal Skills. Strong interpersonal and client service skills are essential. Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Pricing Knowledge. Experience in identifying and capturing cost savings and process improvement opportunities.
- Technology Skills. Intermediate computer skills required, and experience with ERP software is preferred.
