JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for supporting the development, analysis and planning of NCLH's fleet deployment while optimizing port content, call times and additional itinerary performance metrics.
This includes revenue data, guest feedback and trending destinations. Create and distribute communications to port agents and internal teams regarding itinerary changes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Maintain fleet deployment data including port of call summaries. Present data to assist in development of fleet-wide itinerary deployment on a day to day or weekly basis.
- Analyze itinerary performance metrics, revenue data, and market trends to identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize itineraries based on the following performance metrics : market trends, guest feedback, operational considerations, and revenue data.
- Create compelling, clear and interactive visualizations and presentations to enhance itinerary-related decision making.
- Collect and maintain content for the Destinations Repository to be used for itinerary-related educational purposes.
- Track trending destinations around the world and provide actionable recommendations to optimize current and future itineraries.
- Audit consumer-facing itinerary information for consistency with internal materials.
- Audit all consumer-facing itinerary related content (e.g., text and visual content, press releases) to ensure accuracy as well as alignment with each brand's strategy.
- Maintain and update itinerary changes for all systems and databases. Coordinate and communicate changes with various business units across the company.
- Work closely with the Itinerary Planning team to maintain knowledge of frequent itinerary changes resulting from situations including but not limited to guest feedback, maritime requirements, environmental regulations, political issues, fuel costs or port fees and taxes.
- Manage berth requests that are pending, tentative, and unavailable. For requests that are unavailable, create solutions to resolve the unavailable calls.
- Perform additional job related responsibilities as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
DEGREE TYPE : Bachelor's Degree
FIELD(S) OF STUDY : Business Administration, Travel & Hospitality Management, Nautical Science or related field of study
EXPERIENCE :
- Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant business / analytic capacity.
- Cruise industry preferred.
- Experience with MXP preferred.
COMPETENCIES / SKILLS :
- Proficient in computers and systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively work with team members and present recommendations.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external contacts.
- Ability to make effective and sound independent decisions and logical judgment to assure timely completion of projects.
- Effective negotiation, interpersonal and partnering skills.
- Strong conflict resolution, problem solving, and organizational skills to manage daily functions with team members and external contacts.
