Secretary, Nursing Float Pool

Job Overview :

The Unit Secretary coordinates activities at the nursing station including clinical and reception activities.

Qualifications : Required :

Required :

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Medical terminology required

Scheduling Requirements :

Per Diem Day / Evening

Hours : 7am-3 : 30pm or 3pm -11 : 30pm, depending on the needs of the units

One weekend shift in a 4 week period.

Essential Functions :

• Interacts effectively with physicians and team members
• Answers telephone, transcribes orders and maintains neat, orderly environment
• Excellent communication skills, time management and problem solving skills
