Summary :
Performs all project coordination responsibilities for the HTM department that includes tracking progress, purchase requests, requesting resources and providing updates to leadership as needed.
On project requests, additional task responsibilities are as follows, receives, issues, maintains, and documents medical equipment transactions daily relative to medical equipment inventories needed to support hospital and / or departmental projects and / or technical / troubleshooting issues.
Responsible for safeguarding hospital medical assets through accurate and detailed documentation as well as managing existing inventories, to thereby ensure that all hospital personnel can complete their daily tasks required to make life better for children.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate Inventory count on multiple working inventories and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage inventory levels of existing inventories in such a manner that the hospital’s needs are always met (Example : Demand Services Inventory).
- Maintain database or spreadsheets-containing information on receipt, disbursement, location, and transfer of all medical assets hardware per BEST Practices and internal audit
- Maintain inventory control by utilizing department maintained RTLS / CMMS software systems.
- Initiate and document return merchandise authorizations.
- Maintain accurate daily counts of capital and non-capital available inventory such as retired, disposed, rental, etc.
- Maintain adequate documentation, asset records and provide to appropriate department individuals as needed.
- Perform Quarterly Audits for asset inventory focusing on departments data integrity.
- Equipment Issuance :
- Coordinate receipt of medical assets with appropriate departmental and hospital staff. Deliver to user if appropriate or instructed based on requests submitted.
Determining who the Team Lead, HTM Technician and HTM AIMs resources will be by areas affected.
How You’ll Be Successful :
WORK EXPERIENCE
- At least 3 years related experience Required
- Hospital, HTM, or Technical IT Required
EDUCATION
- High school diploma or equivalent Required
- Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience Preferred
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Valid unrestricted driver’s license and proof of insurance Required
