What’s a typical day as an Environmental Waste Program Coordinator? You’ll be :
- Generating waste profiles and consolidating waste at end-user facilities.
- Conducting inspections and implementing corrective actions for deficiencies.
- Maintaining waste packing and sampling supplies inventories.
- Coordinating and scheduling waste shipments, including preparation of required paperwork.
- Ensuring regulatory compliance with RCRA inspections, waste shipments, and generator logs.
- Performing waste sampling collection, preparation, and chain-of-custody for waste characterization.
- Providing technical support and assisting with other related duties as assigned.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you :
- Have 1-3 years of experience in waste-related and / or environmental operations.
- Are organized and detail-oriented.
- Have knowledge of DOT, RCRA, and Mass DEP regulatory practices.
- Possess a valid driver's license.
- Are knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Have current 40-hour HAZWOPER, DOT, and RCRA training or the ability to pass courses upon hire.
