Position : Deputy Director, Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program

Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to assist the Director of Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) in managing and overseeing all aspects of the HCV Program.
This role ensures compliance with HUD standards and policies, including Housing Quality Standards (HQS), Section 8 Management Assessment Program (SEMAP), and the HCV Administrative Plan.
The Deputy Director will be responsible for strategic planning, project management, team leadership, and maintaining fiscal responsibility for HUD funds.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead strategic initiatives, streamline processes, and foster community and staff relations.
- Oversee program operations, ensuring compliance with HUD, DHA policies, and the HCV Administrative Plan.
- Supervise and mentor staff, manage resources, and support team development.
- Assist in budget planning and recommend policy changes to enhance program efficiency.
- Ensure all inspections and program activities comply with HUD regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressively responsible management experience.
- Certification in Housing Quality Standards / NSPIRE Protocol, SEMAP, and Section 8 Management or Executive Management.
- Strong knowledge of HUD regulations and affordable housing programs.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Work Environment :
This role involves a mix of office and fieldwork throughout Denver, with opportunities for remote work. Flexibility to work beyond normal hours is required.
