Job Description At Veterinary Specialty Center, our Client Service Team plays an integral role acting as a liaison between the clients and our doctors and staff, and facilitate an efficient and orderly flow of patient visits.
The person in these positions has the potential to have a profound impact on patient care and our relationships with both our clients and referring veterinarians.
Our client service teams are an essential part of our daily operations.
We have several roles in our client service team ranging from face to face to behind the scenes work including Greeters, Front Desk Receptionists, Scheduling Coordinators, Emergency and Critical Care Coordinators, and Surgery Patient Liaisons.
Depending on the position, your duties may include greeting clients with a warm smile, strong eye contact, and approachable demeanor, professionally answering phone calls on multiple lines, scheduling appointments, discussing finances and processing payments, educating clients regarding services, managing electronic data, preparing patient care plans, and performing various clerical duties.

Job Requirements
Minimum 2 years of client service and / or medical office experience is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
Associates or Bachelors degree preferred, or the equivalent of education and experience
Medical background and medical terminology training is helpful
Flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong Mathematical Skills
Ability to effectively manage a multiline phone system; 80+ incoming calls per day
Ability to type / keyboard at least 50 wpm
Strong multitasking skills while keeping attention to detail
Frequently alternate between seated and standing working positions
Lift up to 30 pounds multiple times per day with or without assistance
Ability to work long periods at computer in high noise levels
