- Abides by all Capstar Drilling and Oil States International safety and operational policies and procedures.
- Perform routine shop housekeeping such as, but not limited to, cleaning shop, picking up tools, and sweeping floors.
- Perform or assist with routine repair and maintenance of equipment and shop or office installations.
- Utilize manually operated and powered tools in order to repair and maintain equipment.
- Operate forklift to transport materials throughout shop and yard area.
- Operate overhead hoist to transport incoming and outgoing materials to storage and staging areas within shop.
- Assist managers or other shop personnel with special projects in or around the shop, yard, and office area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must have good mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to follow detailed verbal and written procedures and instructions.
- Solid hand / eye coordination.
- Ability to use all related equipment and maintenance tools, including hoist, jacks, lift, drill press, saw, forklift, loaders, grinder, etc.
- Must have good communication skills.
- Must successfully pass pre- and post- employment drug and alcohol test per company policy.
