Instrumentation and Control Design Engineer
Are you a talented I&C Engineer / Designer looking for a new opportunity? Look no further! My client is a growing engineering firm that is seeking a skilled engineer to join their team.
This position offers the chance to work on diverse projects, mentor team members, and actively participate in marketing initiatives.
With a focus on high-volume, custom plant projects, you'll have the opportunity to be hands-on with design and directly involved with clients.
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Engineering, technical, or drafting secondary education OR substantial relevant experience
- 5+ years of experience in water and wastewater electrical / I&C design
- Technically competent in electrical engineering design including controls, instrumentation, SCADA systems, and power distribution systems
- Solid understanding of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively
Preferred Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
- Ability to obtain PE registration in Arkansas and other states of practice
- Working knowledge of PLC and HMI programming software
- Working knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant systems
- Working knowledge of AutoCad and / or Revit CAD programs
- Passion for SCADA and the field of automation
