Description
CHD In-Home Therapy is looking for creative, energic and enthusiastic new members to join their team. We are looking for Therapeutic Training and Support Specialist to work within the the IHT team.
The TT&S roles are available in West Springfield, Greenfield and Ware MA locations. Therapeutic Training and Support Specialist provide structured one-to-one skill building for youth (age 0-20), including supporting, coaching, and training in areas such as interpersonal communication, problem solving, and conflict resolution.
TT&S works in collaboration and under the supervision of a Master’s Level Clinician to implement the therapeutic objectives of the treatment plan designed to address the youth’s mental health, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- This includes teaching the youth to understand, direct, interpret, manage, and control feelings and emotional responses to situations and to assist the family to address the youth’s emotional and mental health needs.
- Assists with care coordination with other community providers that are involved in the youth’s treatment.
- Collaboratively work with the clinician, youth, and family to develop a safety plan for crisis management.
- Supports and assists the family in exploring community resources and explore natural supports.
Requirements :
- Must have a bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Must be 21 years of age or older, computer literate,
- One to two years experience working with emotionally disturbed children / adolescents.

Salary
- $46,000 for Full Time (Depending on experience)
- $23.25 Fee for Service
