Division : Steel Location : York, PA SUMMARY OF POSITION
Kinsley is seeking an experienced 2nd shift Material Handler to join our growing Steel Fabrication team in York, PA. Qualified candidates must have experience with overhead crane, operating a forklift and have a willingness to learn.
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Operate forklift as needed
- Perform rigging work including jacking and staking
- Load and unload steel from trucks
- Load steel to transfer tables to feed production line
- Perform other duties as required to support the fabrication shop
Requirements
- Must have experience with overhead crane
- Experience using and operation a forklift is required
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by functioning and communicating in an effective manner with co-workers, clients, and supervisors
- Works in compliance with Kinsleys safety policies and procedures
- Must be flexible to work any schedule needed including overtime and Saturdays as needed
- Basic math skills are required
- Must be able to tolerate hot and cold working environment
- Must be able to stand on feet for up to 10 hours
- Must be organized and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment
