- Practice in a clinical environment supported through a shared governance model.- Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care consistent with population-specific characteristics and cultural diversity.
- Partner with patients and significant others to align care plans with patient goals.- Coordinate safe, quality patient care through effective communication and documentation methods.
- Collaborate in diverse, inclusive team environments and support professional care delivery models.- Engage in performance improvement initiatives, nursing research, and the promotion of evidence-based practices.
- Serve as a preceptor or mentor for other nurses and staff, fostering a qualified workforce and healthy work environment.
