Job Title : Senior Business Analyst
Location : Washington, DC (Onsite)
Duration : 1 Year Contract
Position Responsibilities :
- Document the As-Is business processes and process flows.
- Develop formal documentation for the To-be business processes, process flows, and requirements in consultation with business users and technology teams.
- Document the existing data sources / elements and map data elements with data standards, working closely with the data architect.
- Support the development team with the review and testing of the use case.
Must have :
- 11 yrs. of business analysis experience
- Software Development Lifecycle experience
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- MS Office + MS Project or other Project Management software
- 11+ yrs. of Business process analysis and the ability to implement change
- 11+ yrs. of Experience with developing strategies and processes to improve overall business workflow
- 11+ yrs. of Experience in documenting business process, requirements, and test scripts
- 11+ yrs. of Experience developing develop System Requirements Specification (SRS)
- 11+ yrs. of Strong communication skills - ability to articulate technical terms and complex data clearly to non-technical audience both verbally and in writing
Required Skills :
- 8-10 years of experience as a business process analyst developing strategies / processes to optimize business processes.
- Experience with data-intensive software development, requirements gathering and documentation, managing client relationships, business process analysis, project management software, and software development life cycle.
- Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and familiarity with FERPA requirements is a plus.
- Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills.
