We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role is in the tech industry and will be based in a professional office setting.

As a Help Desk Analyst, you will utilize your knowledge of computer software, hardware, and various internet applications to ensure the highest functionality of computer systems and networks.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with IT team members to maintain, upgrade, and monitor computer systems and networks.
  • Install and configure software according to specifications and set up workstations with necessary peripheral devices.
  • Manage and resolve queries via email, in-person or with a ticketing system.
  • Assist with hardware installations and perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
  • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
  • Maintain records / logs of repairs, fixes, and maintenance schedules, and identify equipment shortages to place orders.
  • Handle IT configuration for new employees as part of the onboarding process, as well as during employee termination.
  • Support current Microsoft products and services.
  • Utilize skills in Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments.
  • Candidate must possess a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or related field
  • Proficiency in computer hardware is required
  • Familiarity with configuration management is essential
  • Experience in deployments is a must
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to keep up to date with advancements in technology and implement new technologies when required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize workloads efficiently
  • High level of customer service skills, with a patient and friendly attitude towards helping others.
