Overview

Job Summary : We are seeking a contractor to support our Oracle Fusion ERP implementation with a strong focus on authoring, executing, and automating test scenarios across financial modules. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining test scripts, performing functional and negative testing, and leveraging automation tools to ensure system reliability and performance. In addition to testing responsibilities, the candidate will analyze business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and leverage data to develop and implement agile solutions that meet the needs of our finance and accounting departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and data analysis, as well as experience working within agile frameworks. Candidates must have strong familiarity with Oracle Fusion ERP Financials Modules, including but not limited to General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. This expertise should encompass both functional and technical aspects, ensuring seamless integration and optimization within the financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and conducting complex system analyses, feasibility studies, and implementation studies under minimal supervision. They will work with the business to understand needs and enhance processes by promoting new functionality and data-driven decisioning. Using knowledge of the organization's technology and target architecture initiatives, the candidate will assist the business in implementing a strategic vision aligned with the enterprise. They will also identify opportunities for new analysis capabilities and process optimization to meet business objectives using cutting-edge data tools and methods. The candidate will act as a consultant and liaison to Finance Leadership for financial data governance initiatives and be considered a stakeholder / contributor on complex systems projects and project teams. This role includes leading full lifecycle project implementation and exercising advanced technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis.

Responsibilities

• Author, execute, and automate test scripts and scenarios for Oracle Fusion ERP using Opkey or similar test automation tools.
• Perform functional, integration, and negative testing across financial modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Procurement, Expenses, and Projects.
• Conduct and / or facilitate user acceptance testing to include developing and executing test cases, communication with project teams, validating and documenting results.
• Develop test plans, test criteria, scenarios and documentation; ensure acceptance of delivered solutions.
• Provide training and support to finance and accounting users of the systems and processes that you have developed.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify pain points, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of existing systems and processes and identify opportunities to streamline or automate these processes.
• Create detailed requirements documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria to support the development of agile solutions.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work with development teams to ensure that solutions are developed in accordance with the requirements and meet the needs of the finance and accounting departments.
• Serve as a change management lead for the business unit; apply change management principles and knowledge to develop strategies including organizational assessments, stakeholder analysis and change roadmaps and plans.
• Develop and oversee project plans and roadmaps that outline preventative and corrective actions necessary to remediate control deficiencies, maximizing effectiveness and mitigating future exposure.
• Ensure preventative, detective, and corrective controls are properly identified and documented.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
