Job Summary :
The Senior Manager, Price Strategy at Newell Brands is responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that align with the company's corporate strategy.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in revenue growth management and pricing strategy including experience in new product pricing strategies, willingness to pay, and value-based pricing.
Responsibilities :
- Lead the development and implementation of value-based pricing strategies that maximize profitability while maintaining customer and consumer satisfaction.
- Partner with Consumer Insights to conduct market research to identify new product pricing strategies and determine the willingness to pay for new products.
- Monitor, analyze and generate insights into pricing trends to identify opportunities for improvement in Newell’s revenue performance.
- Develop and maintain pricing models and other analytical solutions to support pricing decisions and market understanding.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure pricing strategies are informed by cross functional insights and aligned to brand and corporate strategy.
- Advocate for RGM (revenue growth management) aligned ways of working and influence others to adopt best practice to support the development of a strong end to end RGM capability at Newell.
Key Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in pricing strategy, preferably in a consumer goods industry.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in and lead collaborative cross-functional teams.
- Ability to translate best practice into repeatable frameworks, process and ways of working.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
