Volt is immediately hiring for Industrial Maintenance Technician in Fontana, CA.

As a Industrial Maintenance Technician you will :

• Maintain, trouble shoot, support and repair all production and supporting equipment, i.e. Columbia block machine, cooling water system, air compressor, hydraulics etc.
• Ability to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other related systems of all production and supporting department equipment in a safe and secure manner.
• Determine materials, parts, and equipment to be used for repair, installation and stocking purposes.
• Coordinate and participate in scheduled and unscheduled preventive maintenance on all production and supporting equipment.
• Install, inspect, repair and maintain the mechanical, electrical and other related systems located on the premises.
• Maintain records of equipment, such as preventative maintenance and equipment breakdown logs.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of the occupation hazards and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.
• Support production operators with machine troubleshooting and / or set up as necessary.
• Ability to meet and deal tactfully and courteously with fellow employees, vendors, and contractors.
• Must perform all work in a safe and efficient manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

This is a full-time opportunity.

Monday to Friday 3 : 30 a.m. 1 : 30 p.m.

The ideal candidate will have :

• Ability to stand for long periods of time and be able to bend and reach overhead and lift up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay Rate

$26 -$35.00 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
