Description
What do you do all day?
The part-time Social Media Coordinator contributes to NMSI's storytelling and community engagement by drafting, posting and analyzing social media content across Facebook, X / Twitter, Instagram, and other channels.
The coordinator also aggregates, schedules and analyzes engagement with NMSI's internal communication.
What are the details?
- Work with the Public Affairs team to propose monthly social media content based on the team and organizational strategy and ensuring that all content is brand appropriate
- Draft, design and post approved social media content in a timely manner
- Prepare monthly engagement reports and recommend adjustments to continually increase targeted audience behaviors

- Propose social media campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, audience engagement, generate leads or grow audience size
- Assist all members of the Public Affairs, as needed, and complete other duties and projects, as assigned

This is an hourly, part-time position . We expect the coordinator to work roughly 20-25 hours per week. However, all hours worked above 25 hours will need to be preapproved and must remain under 30 hours per week.

What do we offer?
The hiring range for this position is $23.60 / hour to $27.14 / hour and commensurate with related experience. We take pay equity seriously and work hard to ensure our team members are paid fairly regardless of their gender, race, or other demographic backgrounds.
Staff are eligible to participate in 401(k) after 90 days of employment, with up to a 6% employee match, fully vested on day one of participation in the plan.
