A full-service intellectual property law firm is looking for a Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant for their Denver, CO office.
Requirements :
- 10+ years of experience with National Phase Filing
- Patent heavy role
- BA degree and paralegal certificate
- Must live in Colorado (Denver area)
- Preference for contract-to-hire, open to direct hire
- MUST be familiar with electronic case management and USPTO rules
Duties & Responsibilities :
- Manage filing of design patent, and utility patent applications in the United States
- Update and maintain docket with respect to new filings
- MUST be able to jump in and work independently without much supervision
- Open files and prepare documents for filing :
- Patent applications, Preliminary Amendments, Information Disclosure Statements, Responses to Missing Parts, Assignments, Amendments, payments of Issue Fees
- Maintain client portfolios
Salary : $80-$100k / yr.
