Innovate! Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join its geospatial solutions team as a GIS Program Manager. You may be called upon to assist with the design, development, and maintenance of geospatial applications through the concept, design, and implementation phases.

Your role will also include supporting other personnel in utilizing GIS applications and software as well as interfacing with clients and teaming partners.

LOCATION

Remote, with preference to candidates that are within a commutable distance from Washington, DC.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

Ten (10) or more years of total GIS related experience with at least five (5) years relevant, practical experience managing geospatial programs and teams.

WORK ROLE DESCRIPTION

• Manages contract support operations for complex, mission-critical, and strategic programs which may involve multiple projects and groups of personnel at multiple locations.
• Oversees program budget, schedules, and all aspects of financial management of the program.
• Effectively manages funds, personnel, production standards, and resources (equipment and facilities) and ensures quality and timely delivery of all contractual items.

Serves as the focal point of contract with clients regarding all program activities.

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Geography / GIS, Science, Engineering, Business, or another related field.
